I have much pleasure in complying with the request of your Club & enclose 2 photographs, one of which may be selected & the other thrown away.2 I have added my autograph, but I am not sure whether this what you wished me to do

The letter to which this is a reply has not been found, and the club has not been identified. CD was elected a member of the Northampton Natural History Society and Field Club in 1876 (Correspondence vol. 24, letter to G. C. Druce, 25 April 1876).
