Henry George Allen

Barrister and politician. Second son of John Hensleigh Allen, Emma Darwin’s maternal uncle. BA, Oxford, 1837. Called to the bar, Lincoln’s Inn, 1841; QC 1880. Liberal MP for Pembroke, 1880–5; for Pembroke and Haverfordwest, 1885–6.
