Lawrence Beverley Trant
1848–1933
Telegraph engineer. Went to sea in 1860. Took up telegraphy in 1863. Worked in Argentina from 1868, for many years at the Provincial Telegraph Department, Buenos Aires. Lived in London from 1910 but returned to Argentina in 1915.
