George Mitchell Seabroke
1838–1918
Astronomer. Became interested in astronomy while at Rugby. Entered a solicitor’s office, but remained honorary curator of the Temple Observatory at Rugby. A founder of the British Astronomical Association. A member of the eclipse expedition to Sicily, 1870.
