Eugène Louis John Joseph Napoléon
1856–79
Only child of Emperor Napoleon III of France and his Empress consort, Eugénie de Montijo. Moved to Chiselhurst, England, with his father and mother after the fall of the French empire. Educated at Woolwich academy, 1872–5. Killed while fighting with the English army in South Africa.
