Joseph Gerhard Zuccarini
1797–1848
German botanist. Professor of applied botany in the economics faculty at the University of Munich, 1826–48. Described some of the plants collected in Brazil by J. B. von Spix and K. F. P. von Martius (1817–20); of Japan by P. F. von Siebold (1824–30).
