Thomas William Wood
1833–82
Artist and illustrator. Son of Thomas William Wood, auctioneer, and his wife Elizabeth, of Chatham, Kent. Apprenticed to a chemist in Chatham, 1851. Artist in London from at least 1861. Made some animal illustrations for Descent 2d ed. and Expression.
