Barrister. Son of Edward Truelove. Registered as Edward Mazzini Truelove at birth; named Mazzini Truelove in a secular ceremony performed by George Holyoake in November 1849. Began using the name Maurice Hawley Truelove by the time he was a student at King’s College, London.
