George Thin

1838–1903

Scottish physician. Half-brother of Alexander Michie (1833–1902, ODNB). LRCS, Edinburgh, 1858; MD, Aberdeen, 1860. Studied tropical diseases in Shanghai. After returning to Europe around 1873, studied dermatology in Vienna and Paris. Practised in London from 1875.
