August Otto Theodor (Theodor) Tellkampf
1812–83
German physician and entomologist. Brother of the economist Johann Louis Tellkampf (ADB). Studied cave fauna in the United States. Born and died in Germany, but lived in the United States, 1839–80. Called himself ‘Theodor A. (or G.) Tellkampf’ in America.
