Daniel Rapin
1799–1882
Swiss botanist and pharmacist. Worked in pharmacies in Fribourg, Geneva, and Payerne, Switzerland, and in Strasbourg and Paris, France, 1832–8; settled in Rolle, Switzerland, 1838–53. In retirement, lived in Yverdon, 1853–7, and from 1857, in Plainpalais.
