Emma Nixon (1834–1889)
1810–89
Daughter of Millicent and John Gisborne, and granddaughter (by her first marriage) of Elizabeth Darwin, Erasmus Darwin’s second wife. Married Henry Nixon (1805/6–35), incumbent of Astbury, Cheshire, and later Boroughbridge, Yorkshire, in 1834.
