Andrew Murray


Lawyer, entomologist and botanist. Practised law in Edinburgh until 1860. Assistant secretary to the Royal Horticultural Society, 1860–5. An expert on insects harmful to crops. In entomology, specialised in the Coleoptera; in botany, specialised in the Coniferae.
