Andrew Murray
Lawyer , entomologist and botanist . Practised law in Edinburgh until 1860. Assistant secretary to the Royal Horticultural Society, 1860–5. An expert on insects harmful to crops. In entomology, specialised in the Coleoptera; in botany, specialised in the Coniferae.
