Edward Mott Moore
1814–1902
American surgeon. Trained in medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and specialised in the study of fractures. Advocate for Rochester, New York’s park system; member of the University of Rochester’s board of trustees for thirty years (president, 1893–1902). President of the American Medical Association.
