George Keen
1794–1884
English-born sheep farmer in Argentina and Uruguay. Arrived in Argentina in 1818. Married Mary Yates (1802/3–72) in 1821. Owned, among other properties, Estancia La Virgen de los Dolores, at Mercedes on the Rio Negro, Uruguay, visited by CD in 1833.
