Léo Abram Errera
1858–1905
Belgian botanist of Italian and German parentage. Doctorate in botanical science, Free University of Brussels, 1879. Studied plant physiology in Germany until 1882. Associate professor of botany at the Free University of Brussels, 1883; professor, 1890. Actively involved in Jewish affairs.
