Henry Duncan Spens (Harry) Goodsir
1819–45
Physician. Younger brother of John Goodsir (ODNB). Conservator of the Museum of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, 1843–5. Assistant-surgeon and naturalist to John Franklin’s ill-fated 1845 expedition in search of a north-west passage.
