My dear Sir

I am much obliged.

So let it be, i.e. I not to receive my share till 750 or 800 copies are sold, & you to print 1250 copies.—1 If the book should sell very badly pray remember that I am not altogether to blame.

Yours very sincerely | Ch. Darwin
