April 20/75.
My dear Sir,
You will be glad to hear that my friends the Sandwiths1 took compassion on my loneliness, and have given me a home in their house till I get convalescent. My chances of recovery are certainly doubled by this kindness on their part. Please don’t trouble to answer this Letter.2
