I am much obliged by your kind note.2 The case of the bear is very curious and is analogous to that of the elephant blowing with its trunk beyond an object to bring it within its reach, as I have seen in the Zoological Gardens.— When ever I bring out a corrected edition, I will correct the case of priority—3
