Dear Sir
I am much obliged for D
I have already written to Prof. Victor Carus on the subject of my new book & told him all that I could.
I am glad to hear of the new edition of the Origin; I sent some time ago the new English edition to Prof. Carus; & the corrections will cost him a good deal of labour, for although the book is only a page or two longer I have struck out many passages & added others.
Believe me, dear Sir | yours faithfully | Ch. Darwin
