My dear Sir

I send by this day's the 2nd & 3rd sheets of vol. 2. I hope you are making good progress in your dull & laborious undertaking. My object in writing now is to ask you whether vol. 1 will be published separately before vol. 2? In this case, I shd be much obliged if you wd give me the name & address of the publisher in Paris as I have mislaid it.
