From William Angus Knight   20 August 1867

Dundee

August 20th. 1867

Dear Sir,

I understand you are to visit Dundee during the meetings of the British association in September:1 and I write to say that if you have made no other arrangement, it will give me much pleasure to receive you at my house.

I regret that I can only offer you a small bedroom; but I take it for granted that the gentlemen visiting Dundee at that time will be prepared to make the best of circumstances.

If you find you can accept this invitation I hope to hear from you what day I am to expect you.

My address is

Revd William Knight

17 Roseangle

Dundee.

I am, | Yours sincerely | William Knight.

Charles R. Darwin Esq.
