My dear Mr Darwin

I strongly think that Crüger's valuable paper shd. appear in the Linnean Socy's Journal. I think N. H. R. wd. interfere were it to take possession of it.

I shall therefore send it to Mr. Bentham as comd. by you.— First, however, I must read it myself
