There is a copy of Phillips 1860 in the Darwin Library--CUL. The work gives the text of Phillips's Rede lecture at Cambridge University, in which he addressed the question of the origin of species. CD had presented Phillips with a copy of Origin (see Appendix III and Correspondence vol. 7, letter to John Phillips, 26 November [1859]).
