My dear Mr Oliver.

What wealth of knowledge you have!—   But I have hardly read the extract about Drosera; as we are in much distress, my poor eldest daughter has had a relapse. We cannot return on 26th to Down.— Excuse me at present | Yours very sincerely | C. Darwin
