My dear Sir

I have just received some Fowls from the Rajah Sir James Brooke, which are not of much interest, but as I have thought you would like to display all you cd at Zoolog. Soc. I will this night send them to Carstang's. They consist of white silk Fowls originally from China, one crested, & some frizzled Fowls of unknown origin procured at Singapore. They are labelled.—
