My dear Huxley

I congratulate you heartily on Mrs Huxley's troubles being over.— It is a horrid affair at the best of times; & I fear a repitition will not make you feel younger.—

The Balanus is positively B. balanoides, & you may positively state that the surface to which it adhered was not beneath level of lowest tide

I will bring specimen when next I come to London.—

Ever yours | C. Darwin
