Dear Sir John
I am much obliged to you for taking the trouble to send me the drawings & Coins.—
I know so little of English rocks, that I cannot tell you what the stone is; it is very like what is formed on borders of coral-reefs & most islands in the Tropical seas, where shells are abundant.
