To Anton de Bary 11 February 1879
Down, | Beckenham, Kent.
Feb 11. 1879
Dear Sir
I have often received from various writers copies of the Bot: Zeitung; but lately they have come so regularly that I think I must be indebted to you for them.1 I assure you that I fully appreciate your kindness & the honour which you have thus done me. But I write to beg you not to send them in future as I regularly take in this your invaluable publication; & have procured the volumes from the commencement.
With the highest respect | I remain dear Sir | yours faithfully | Charles Darwin
