will receive as an enclosure the diploma by which the königliche Akademie der Wissenschaften elects you a

foreign member

of its mathematical–physical section.2

It is a particular honour for the undersigned to deliver to you a document by which the kgl: Akademie certifies its respect for and acknowledgement of the services that you have rendered to your specialism through your research and publications.
