Dear Father,

The Pantry Mimosa looks pretty well today, the leaflets that were in water have a slightly untidy curled look, but they are not discoloured, they still close rather slower than the rest of the plant.

Next week when they are quite recovered I will put them in pantry again.2

The other in glass continues well & opens under water without discoloration.

I took the leaflets out of the water just now, they are quite torpid to the touch. They seemed but little wetted above or underneath. I have immersed them again.

The berries are not more sunk, but the water is now about as dingy looking as what you saw in case of the other berries.3
