Darwin Correspondence Project

To R. F. Cooke   23 June [1869]1

Caerdeon, Barmouth | N Wales

June 23d

My dear Sir

I distinctly told Prof. Canestrini that you wd. charge 10£ for the stereotypes, as you had done for other foreign editions.—2 You had better write direct to him—or to his publisher.— I thought that you had been paid long ago.—

Thanks for the copy received of Origin & for the copies despatched abroad & elsewhere.— Pray do not forget my suggestion of a copy for Review to “Scientific Opinion”

My dear Sir | Yours sincerely | Ch. Darwin
