My dear Sir

I have sent off Maillet. Please keep him as from me2

Ever yours very faithfully | Is Anderson Henry

Footnotes

Anderson-Henry had crossed Arabis blepharophylla with A. soyeri, and obtained two pods ‘about twice the size of the normal pods’ (letter from Isaac Anderson-Henry, 20 May 1867). CD had asked him to confirm that the pods were larger than those of A. soyeri (letter to Isaac Anderson-Henry, 22 May [1867]).
Anderson-Henry refers to Maillet 1750 (see letter to Isaac Anderson-Henry, 22 May [1867] and n. 4).
