My dear Sir
I send rough copy of my letter, which please return, as I have no other.1 I do not think it would be worth your keeping a copy, but of course you can if you like. I have a copy by this post to Mr. Farrer.2 Sir J. Hooker writes to me that he has sent letter to Mr. Farrer, telling him that he thinks your plan deserves as the best, but I have not seen the actual letter.3 I have told Farrer that we will agree to whatever he or Mr. Caird thinks best.4
