Darwin Correspondence Project

From G. H. Darwin   31 January 1874

Trin Coll

Jan 31. ’74

Dear Father,

Please to tell Parslow that I’ve written to Carbonell that we will return the brown sherry & to send some other different & drier.—1

I have actually done the index—2 it is nothing of a job; & I’ve looked thro’ all the parts cut out in the print & scratched out anything which disappears from the book— some few are scratched out as coming under slightly different headings or on different pages to those referred to in the index. I will bring it up to town on Tuesday & leave it at No. 6 for F. to bring down to you.3 I have written to Mr. Norman4 too about my job & it won’t signify how soon you send your MS to him.

Yours affectionately | G H Darwin
