Darwin Correspondence Project

From W. E. Darwin   6 November 1871

Bank, Southampton,

Nov 6 1871

My dear Father,

I send you off proofs by afternoon post.1 The original & the other copy of proof I send tonight.

The third copy of proof I keep. I have not had the diagram by me to check the letters & figures by. I see they say it will be about 400 hundred only, quite a moderate book.2

I will check the letters with the diagram in my 5th edition tonight.3

I have been down to Bournemouth for a Sunday & found Edmund pretty brisk.4
