1821–87

Schoolteacher. Daughter of Thomas William Smith Meek and his wife Ann of Betley, Staffordshire. Sister of Jane, wife of George Dulin, one of CD’s copyists. In 1843, married at Hanley, Staffordshire, Wilkinson Grantham, attorney (b. 1810/11, emigrated to Australia 1852, presumably d. by 1861). Lived on the Wirral, Cheshire. With her mother and sister Mary Ann Meek in Birkenhead, 1851; schoolteacher with her sister and niece Ellen Evelyn Dulin in Higher Bebington, 1861; schoolteacher with her sister and aunt Mary Harding in Tranmere, 1871; with her niece Evelyn Dulin, music teacher, her aunt and two Harding cousins in Tranmere, 1881.
