James John Trevor (Trevor) Lawrence, 2d baronet

Hospital administrator and horticulturalist. Studied medicine at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London. Indian medical service, 1853–63. Conservative MP for Mid-Surrey, 1875; Reigate, 1885–92. President of the Royal Horticultural Society, 1885–1913. Treasurer of St Bartholomew’s Hospital from 1892. Succeeded to the baronetcy, 1867.
