Thomas Hawkins

1810–89

Palaeontological collector. Lived at Sharpham Park, near Glastonbury, Somerset, circa 1832–45. Collected fossils, especially ichthyosaurs and plesiosaurs, through local quarriers and from Mary Anning in Lyme Regis. Sold two collections to the British Museum, in 1834 and 1840.
