George Sleigh
1857–1940
Gardener. Born in Wavertree, West Derby, Lancashire. Employed by Thomas de Grey, sixth baron Walsingham, at Merton Hall, Thetford, Norfolk. Conditionally offered employment by CD in September 1879. Family moved to Ireland and then Chelsea. Settled in Lillingstone Lovell, Buckinghamshire, by 1891.
