John Olive Buttler

Army officer. Lieutenant in the 49th regiment native infantry of Madras, India. Probably John Olive Buttler (1822/3–80), son of George Buttler and Mary Best of Droxford, Hampshire; d. 10 October 1880 aged 57, captain in Her Majesty’s Madras Army, of Coonoor, Madras presidency.
