Thomas Bevill Peacock
1812–82
Physician. MD, Edinburgh, 1841. Specialised in cardiology. Assistant physician, St Thomas’s Hospital, London, from 1849. Established a dispensary in Liverpool Street that became the Victoria Park Hospital for diseases of the chest. A founder of the Pathological Society of London, 1846; president, 1865–6.
