Peter H. Bateson

fl. 1860s–70s

American printer and publisher. Director and printer of the Index, published in Toledo, Ohio. In 1870, founding partner, Bateson & Manor publishing company, publishers of a weekly newspaper, the Toledo Journal. Retired in 1873. Probably Peter H. Bateson, a Toledo lawyer (1836–81).
