Robert Holland

Farmer, botanist, and antiquarian. Studied agriculture at Cirencester. Consulting botanist and examiner of seeds, Cheshire Agricultural Society. Farmed at Mobberley, Cheshire, until 1875. Land agent at Norton Priory, Halton. Moved to Frodsham, 1882. Author of works on plant names and local customs.
