Charles John Robinson

1833–98

Clergyman. Incumbent of Harewood, Herefordshire, 1864. Vicar, Norton Canon, Herefordshire, 1865–77; West Hackney, London, 1877–87; Horsham, 1887–94. Founder of Harleian Society, 1869. Professor of theology and principal, Queen’s College, London, from 1894. Author of a register of scholars of the Merchant Taylors’ school and works on the history of Herefordshire and West Sussex. Married Matilda Catherine Wilson (1835/6–65) in 1862 and Emma Harriette Croker (1843–1929) in 1866.
