John Maclean

Merchant in Lima, 1832–54. Sent plants to William Jackson Hooker and William Herbert. Probably Juan Maclean, son of Juan Maclean and Margarita Maxwell who married in San Sebastián, Lima, Peru, on 2 June 1824, Roza Echanez, daughter of Ramon Echanez and Manuela Almarsa Juan Maclean was then probably John Maxwell Mclean, b. 11 January 1786, son of John Mclean and Margaret Maxwell of Annieston.
