Henry Lettington

1822/3–1910

Gardener. Worked as a gardener at Down House, 1854–79, and occasionally in following years. Assisted CD with botanical experiments. Member of the Down Friendly Society, 1882. Son-in-law of William Brooks, who was also employed by the Darwins.
