My dear Sir
Thanks for the enclosed.1 Herr Ijkema of Delft in Holland has applied to me for right of translation;2 but when he hears the cost of the plates he may change his mind. They generally publish, small edits in Holland, & I have ventured to tell him that you wd supply him with less than 1000 copies on the scale of £75.3 So please to remember, if he applies to you, that he has my consent.
