From R. F. Cooke 28 April 1871
50a, Albemarle Street, London, W.
April 28 1871
My dear Sir
I had a call yesterday from Mr Kidd, who is very anxious to send us any estimate or specimen, in regard to your new work.1
If he could see a subject or two, he wd. be better able to give us an idea of expense
Of course he wd. have to take negatives, as I presume you wd. only place in his hands, original drawings or photographs?
Have you seen the new number of the Edinburgh Review, as there is an interesting article on the “Application of Photography” in which all the different processes are very well described.2
I will lend you my copy, if you have it not.
Yours faithfully | Robt. Cooke
